Everyone has a story to tell — their own. Writing your memoirs and publishing them in a professionally bound format is a perfect legacy to leave to your children and grandchildren. Your life story will be fascinating to them, even if you think you lived an ordinary life.

It's the little things that are intriguing. How did you spend Saturday afternoons before we had computers and 300 television channels? What games did you play? What books did you read? Did you take any family trips?
Here's a fun thing you can put at the end of your book: appendices of Top Ten lists, such as the top ten places you've ever lived (or visited), movies you've seen, books you've read, etc. My brother-in-law did this at the end of his memoir and it really added to the book and gave the readers a chance to know him even better.
